Soccer begins for another season

Mitch started his soccer season today with a gala day for the local club. He then played three short games in the heat. All the kids had fun but were very hot and sweaty at the end. Here are a few action shots of Mitch.

Sam and Lucas had a very cute moment between one of the games and I was able to get a few pictures of the two of them separately and together.

It really was only a moment of cuteness too. I fixed Sam's hat and tried to shoot them again and this is all I got:

Jamie and Phaik come to visit

Uncle Jamie and Auntie Phaik came to visit this afternoon as they continue their relative laden "holiday" in Oz. The boys had a great time tiring them out on the trampoline and playing with them in the backyard. Then it was inside for a bit of book fun before dinner. Here are some photos of the afternoon. You will notice how a crowd builds any time someone sits down to read a story.

It's been a while since I've taken many photos, and on Meeks encouragement I decided to take a few this evening of Holly as she was playing the playroom. She was being very cute as usual. We just love her.

That should keep the grand parents happy :)

First Day of Pre-School

Lucas and Sam had their first day of pre-school today and they were VERY excited. Here are some shots of the two of them.

Apparently the had a fantastic time but were pretty exhausted tonight. They're going Monday and Tuesday to a pre-school down the road

Holly and the boys

It's been a nasty weekend with a bug going through the family but fortunately today we were all largely feeling better (though still possibly contagious) which meant a day at home. I had a bit of a chance to take some photos of the kids as we near Christmas. Getting them all in the same photo and smiling turned out to be impossible without some extensive Photoshop so it will have to be some separate shots. First the boys under the tree out the front:

Holly Kate Clark 1 year old

Twelve months ago on a special Spring day at a very early hour of the morning Holly Kate came into our lives. She was precious and beautiful. After a shaky start with jaundice she has enriched all our lives in a way that we could not have expected. She is always full of smiles even when she's sick (which has happened a lot) and she loves to play and cuddle and is just a delight to be around. Her brothers adore her and she adores them. Her parents love her to bits and I fear I will never be able to say no to her, "What's that Holly? You want a car? Of course I'll go and buy it for you now!".

Father's Day

I always consider myself blessed to have such a beautiful wife and healthy wonderful children, but today is a special day. We started the day (after a sleep in) with pancakes (yum!) followed by intensive lego with the boys

Then it was into the backyard for soccer, rolls (where we roll the ball to each other) and then trampoline

After that there was a picnic in the backyard, more playing and time in the sandpit

 

Then off to visit the grandparents

I am a lucky man.
