Mitch's soccer team photos

Yes afternoon I had the pleasure of taking the team photos for Mitch's soccer team. They had a professional supplied by the club take a photo of the team in the usual (boring) team pose earlier on in the season, but I thought I might try and do a better job and make something more memorable for the team. Fortunately the coach and parents agreed to give me a go. So yesterday I took over the whole training session and took photos eleven 5 and 6 year olds for an hour. They behaved really well, or as well as could be expected.

I dragged pretty much all my kit up to the oval and after a bit of setting up I did some set up shots, which Lucas and Sam helped out with:

After I got myself set up we had whole team photos like this:
having a bit of fun along the way

and then a couple of portrait shots for each child in front of the team. Here was Mitch's one:
then finally there were a couple of action shots for each child. Here's one of Mitch's:
Not a bad effort in about 50 minutes with eleven 5 and 6 year olds. Overall I was really happy with the results and I have had heaps of positive feedback from the other parents which is great!
