Day 1
Well here we are at the end of Day 1, and I thought I'd do a quick update and post some more pictures.
Lucas and Sam are doing great. They're out of special care and in the room with us. Meeks has had a go at breastfeeding both of them twice and we had a chance to give them a bit of a bottle feed too. Here is Lucas:
And Sam (he has some marks on his cheeks from the sticky stuff they used to hold the feeding tube in yesterday):
and the two of them together. I think from this angle they look quite similar. Lucas is on the left and Sam is on the right.
Both boys are very well behaved and pretty much sleep most of the time (even when they are supposed to be feeding!)
Meeks is doing a bit better but is still feeling crook. She had a blood test and her levels were very low which was why she was feeling so tired and pale. She is having a transfusion as I write so she should be feeling much better soon. She has been able to get up and walk a tiny bit and that will get better with time.
Mitch came in to visit his brothers today. He was very cute and gave them a cuddle and a kiss each

hope the transfusion works wonders for meeks.
and i reckon in the one where they look similar to each other that lucas particularly looks similar to what mitch did.
hope that day 2 is a good one as well.
Wow, they do look really alike! Both very adorable. And how cute is Mitchy with them... Praying for a speedy recovery for you, Meeks.
