Our baby boys
Today at about 1:27pm our beautiful boys were brought into the world.
Lucas David Clark was born at 1:27pm. He weighed in at a hefty 3.98kg and was 56cm long. His head circumference was 36cm.
Samuel Jonah Clark was born at 1:28pm. He weighed in a more petite (but certainly not small) 3.22kg and was 52cm long. His head circumference was 35cm. (I love that you can see Lucas in his crib in the background in the shot below)
Both boys will be in humidi-cribs overnight but are doing well.
Meeks lost quite a lot of blood during the operation and is feeling quite unwell at the moment. She's very tired and feeling nauseous but will hopefully feel better after some sleep tonight.
We thank God for the beautiful miracles he has brought safely into our lives. We appreciate your continuing prayers for us,

We nearly cried when we saw the pictures. They look beautiful. We will pray for a speedy recovery.
Meeks, You are amazing. The boys look so beautiful. Love the names you have chosen. Hope you recover quickly. Was going to try to see you on Friday but will wait till you feel up to it. Don't know if you are aware but Kylie had a son yesterday called Marcus Anthony. All is well. Will keep praying for you all.

Praise God for their safe arrival. We are so incredibly excited for you all (and jolly relieved that Meeks doesn't have to carry them inside anymore!). Congratulations to you both! Unfortunately for some reason the email went into my junk folder and so only now happened to see it. What wonderful news, and Annemieke you did so well carrying such big boys, I don't think I have ever heard of twins that size - well done.
